What do we do?

  • Provide a forum for high-level exchange between officials of U.S. and Chinese organizations.
  • Provide executive education programs for senior Chinese officials, e.g., Shanghai and Tianjin Municipal Government Executive Education Programs.
  • Provide short-term executive training programs for Chinese companies.
  • Support academic research on business and economic issues related to the emerging market economy in China.
  • Assist U.S. companies in developing business opportunities in China through market research, prospect identification, business planning, and business facilitation.
  • Publish newsletters and other communications describing Center activities (programs, conferences, trade missions, workshops, etc.) for dissemination to business and government leaders in the U.S. and China.
  • Develop and implement appropriate vehicles to facilitate trade and business development between the U.S. and China.
  • Facilitate economic development in West Virginia and the region through introductions, receptions, workshops, business exchanges, and trade missions.
